On Thursday 23/4/2026 CWA Moruya made a fabulous pledge commitment of $170,000 towards the cost of a single unit in the proposed 6 unit and common area complex to be built by CAERH on the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital site.
This money results from years of hard work by the CWA Moruya Branch and its members.
Under the pledge agreement CWA will provide the funds to CAERH on the execution of a building contract for the site and in turn CWA Moruya will be acknowledged on a plaque on that unit.

Steph Carter, Secretary and Rob Pollock, Chair of CAERH present Certificate of Appreciation to Virginia Eddy, President and Alison Sledge Treasurer CWA Moruya
CAERH Chair, Rob Pollock thanked CWA for all their efforts and commented on the really humbling support from the CWA and the wider Eurobodalla community, that CAERH has received. He noted from his past experience with the Moruya Oncology Unit fundraising, that when the Eurobodalla community decides to support a worthy cause, they are not worried by large targets - they just go off and do it.
CAERH Secretary, Steph Carter noted that while the efforts of all members of the CWA were really appreciated, she gave a special thanks to Alison Sedge for all her work to progress and support this wonderful achievement, over the last two years.
