At the annual Rotary Club of Batemans Bay President's Changeover dinner, on Thursday 26th June 2025, many deserving community organizations and individuals were recognized for their worthy efforts in the community in creating the Magic of Rotary.

To single out one couple, Colin and Bronwyn Jay.

Bronwyn and Colin Jay, receiving their Paul Harris Fellow pins from Rotary Club of Batemans Bay's Foundation Director, David Friedlieb.

Their hard work, spending many hours over the past 14 months, giving up their weekends, have been the main driving force in raising in excess of $110,000 to go towards the building fund for Carers Accommodation at the new Eurobodalla Regional Hospital.

Come rain, hail or shine, the pair were out selling Art Union tickets to go towards raising the necessary funds.

Both Col and Bronwyn were deservedly recognized with the Rotary award of Paul Harris Fellow pins, for Service Above Self.
